SEMA and AAPEX show are hosted in November each year in Las Vegas Convention Center and the Sands Expo. It is a festival for car enthusiasts and aftermarket professionals. Ford is a major sponsor for this year’s SEMA, so the show features many of Ford's new vehicles in 2010, including Taurus, Fiesta, Fusion and other cars.
This year's SEMA show are not affected by the economy. It still full occupied the 3 large exhibition halls in Las Vegas Convention Center.. There’s no obvious changes in the number of exhibitors, and a new section of new products show case is added in the South Hall. It indicates that the automotive aftermarket is gradually recovery from the down turn. In addition to various private collections of modified cars, major U.S. automakers, GM, Ford, Chrysler and others also demonstrated a large variety of performance parts and accessories and personalized items. General Motors displayed performance parts. Car users can modify their vehicles through GM network, or dealers, etc. There are also aftermarket producers like Ford Racing, Chrysler’s MOPAR, through who’s exhibition we can tell there’s the large opportunities for aftermarket business in the U.S. market.
